BAHA hockey

BAHA

BAHA was set up in 2009 to grow participation in hockey. Its primary aim is to introduce young children to high level hockey at Under-13 level (school year 8 or younger).

Every year, BAHA runs a series of training and assessment days where youngsters get the opportunity to be trained by quality coaches.

At the end of the series of training days a squad is selected, for girls and boys, to participate in the annual UK Under-13 Regional Championship. This is a prestigious 3-day event in which some of the most talented young players in the country play in teams representing the regions of the country.

From 2025, BAHA is run and hosted by South Leicester Youth Hockey and will be open to children from any club.
